Fit For Hire

Welcome to Fit for Hire, where recreation comes to you! Fit for Hire offers off-site fitness services provided by the Student Recreation Center (SRC) FitWell department. SRC Staff will travel around campus to provide fitness and wellness services to the UCR community. Whether you're a student organization, staff department, or any other group looking to enhance your well-being and team spirit, Fit for Hire has something special for you.

Currently, this program is offered on a limited basis, and its availability is contingent upon the schedules of SRC staff and instructors. The FitWell department is committed to providing resources to on-campus departments whenever possible. SRC Staff will do their best to accommodate your preferred date and time.

HOW IT WORKS

Complete the Fit for Hire request form to let the FitWell department know your preferred date, time and desired activity.

A FitWell staff member will then contact you to discuss further details. On the day of the event, all you need to do is show up and be ready to move!

Pricing & Offerings

Whether you're craving the invigorating energy of a group workout or the soothing relaxation of a chair massage session, Fit for Hire has something for everyone.

Fit for Hire sessions are 60mins in length and can be conducted either within or outside the SRC. Please be aware that sessions held within the SRC will incur a room reservation fee of $25 per session. This fee is waived for student groups.

Request one session or multiple per quarter; it is up to you! Rest assured: all necessary supplies are provided by experienced SRC staff and included in the price.

Fit for Hire Offerings

Whether you're seeking the high-energy motivation of a group workout or the calming relief of a chair massage, Fit for Hire offers a wide range of activities. SRC Staff will do their best to accommodate your preferred activity; however, alternative options may be necessary depending on instructor availability.

Cardio Classes
Ready to get your heart pumping and your body moving? Our cardio classes are designed to leave you feeling energized, all while keeping your body engaged and having fun. Options include:
Strength & Pilates Classes
Looking to build strength and tone your body? Our Strength and Pilates classes are designed to help you develop a solid foundation of core stability, muscular endurance, and overall strength. Options include:
Cycle Burn: Dive into cardiovascular conditioning as you push your limits with energizing cycling drills and dynamic interval training. Get ready to sweat!

Body Sculpt: Experience a powerful and exhilarating blend of interval training and targeted muscle conditioning during this multi-intensity resistance training class.

Zumba®: Shake up your routine with a vibrant fusion of Latin-inspired rhythms and high- energy moves. This dynamic dance party, where fun and fitness collide, is guaranteed to get your heart racing.

Pilates Fusion: Sculpt and tone your entire body with fluid, controlled movements, redefining and improving your strength, flexibility, and balance all at once.
Yoga & Stretch Classes
Looking to improve flexibility and reduce stress? Our Yoga and Stretch classes are designed to help you increase mobility, unwind, and de-stress. Options include:
Massage & Wellness Offerings
Whether you're seeking a soothing chair massage or want more information on holistic wellness techniques, our wellness services will help rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit. Options include:
Restorative Yoga: Unwind and recharge during this restful practice that uses supported stretches, deep breathing, and guided meditation to promote deep relaxation.

Chair Massage: Relax your muscles and your mind with a soothing chair massage. Sessions run for 5 to 15 minutes per person, depending on the number of participants and duration of the event.

Yoga: Experience the harmonious blend of classical yoga postures, mindful breathwork, and gentle movements designed to nurture both strength & flexibility.

Wellness Workshops: Looking to add valuable educational content to your event or retreat? Our wellness workshops cover a variety of topics and are designed to empower your participants to live healthier, more balanced lives. Options include Mindfulness and Breathwork, Developing Healthy Habits and Goal Setting, Active Aging, and more!

Stretch & Strengthen: Give your body the attention it deserves! Stretch and strengthen muscles that support proper posture and help alleviate common issues like neck and back pain.
