Outdoor Excursions is committed to developing quality Outdoor Leaders with the skills and experience needed to effectively lead others in outdoor
adventure activities. Outdoor Excursions' Leader Development Program is designed to introduce adventure lovers to these basic skills. This program is a requirement for anyone interested in becoming a leader for Outdoor Excursions.
To graduate from the Leader Development Program, you will complete the following:

A six-day Leadership Expedition

Wilderness first-aid training
-
Obtain a class B commercial driver license

Shadow two Outdoor Excursions trips
Upon completion of the program you will receive a certificate, an evaluation of your skills and feedback on how to further your development. Graduates with the most rounded skill sets will be offered jobs as Outdoor Excursions Trip Leaders.
