Maximize your organization’s confidence, communication and problem-solving skills with our “break out of the comfort zone” programs. All ages and levels welcome. Each fun-filled program includes:

  • Warm-ups – Games to overcome embarrassment and establish a safe learning environment
  • Initiatives – Activities to challenge the mind and enhance teamwork
  • Low and High Course – Activities to promote physical and mental challenge, creativity and team spirit





R'Team (Low Course)

Program length: 2.5 hours
Participants will attempt low-to-the-ground challenges using group effort. Personal reflection time and “team spirit” activities included.

R'Challenge (Low & High Course)

Program length: 4 or 6 hours
Effort – versus completion – is emphasized with our climbing wall, catwalks, giant swing and trapeze. Each gives a risky impression, but is as safe as any low-ground challenge. Achieve improved initiative and trust.

Climb on up for fun, fitness and confidence building. (UCR student organizations and departments only.) Expert staff, safety gear, climbing shoes and an extreme sense of accomplishment included.

Try it for Yourself

Our Open House is just that – open to everyone! Climb a telephone pole. Jump for a trapeze. Take a giant swing, and learn how to reserve our Challenge Course for your next team building adventure. No experience necessary. All you need are closed-toe shoes and completed health/liability forms (available on site). Our Challenge Course is located behind the UCR Student Recreation Center (SRC) across from the A-I Residence Halls.

Contact Mike Conley via email or (951) 827-4473 for availability and registration. A contract and Detailed Goal Assessment form will be sent once arrangements have been made. Both – along with a 50% deposit – are due before the scheduled event. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event.   

Payment Options
Credit card payments can be made daily from 11:00am to 6:00pm at the OE Shop. Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted.

Checks made out to “UC Regents” can be mailed to the address below or delivered to the Student Recreation Center’s front counter during cashiering hours: Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm

Required Forms
Each participant is required to submit the forms below on or before the day of the scheduled OE event. Copies can be made for additional participants.
