Fitness Equipment Checkout

WE HAVE IT ALL

UC Riverside Recreation offers a number of fitness equipment for rental use.

All equipment is available free of charge on a first come first serve basis. A student ID number and name is all that is required to checkout equipment.

By appointment only: Equipment can be picked up on Monday and returned to the SRC by Friday.

Any damaged equipment will be charged a damage fee of $15.


Fitness Equipment Checkout

Send an email to angel.lizarde@ucr.edu to submit your request for items by 5pm Thursday.

Angel will send you an email reply either confirming your request or letting you know the item(s) are not available.

Pickup is available by appointment only on Mondays due to limited staffing

If you need a different time accommodation please email Angel to coordinate and he will try to work out a time with you that is mutually convenient.

You may request a maximum of two pieces of weight equipment plus one more item such as a jump rope or resistance band.

Checkout period will be one week of use so that we can ensure access to equipment for as many students as possible.

Once your equipment reservation has been confirmed you will receive a confirmation email with your designated pickup time.

If the items that you want are already checked out when you submit your request, your request will be placed on a waitlist and when the items are returned you will be the next to receive them.

Items can be re-reserved by the same student for consecutive checkout periods as long as no other student has submitted a request for the same items.

Return hours are by appointment only on Fridays due to limited staffing. Please bring equipment back in good condition.

For your safety and protection, we need the entire weekend to ensure that all Items can be thoroughly disinfected so they are ready for checkout again on Monday.

Note: Do not engage in any exercise program without consent of a medical doctor who has agreed that they you are healthy enough to exercise.
