SRC Child Care

Located in the Student Recreation Center North Conference Room in between the front counter and the racquet ball courts. We offer a wide variety of educational games, activities and services designed to keep your child engaged and happy whilst you exercise and take part in SRC programs. Our talented staff have passed an extensive background check, are CPR/First-Aid certified and are trained extensively to provide a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment for your children. 

ATTENTION: SRC Child Care COVID-19 protocols and policies ae sourced in guidance through Cal/OSHA, CDC, California Department of Social Services, California Coronavirus Resources, Community Care Licensing and State of CALIFORNIA Health and Human Services Agency. To prioritize our family’s safety, we have implemented the following policies:

  • Child care sessions are limited to 10 children per 2-hour session.
  • Cleaning and sanitation take place before, during and after sessions.
  • SRC Child Care staff take COVID-19 prevention training.
  • Masks are available for children and adults.
  • SRC have installed optimal filtration systems to ensure air quality meet required safety guidelines.
  • UCR has attained 97.63% vaccination rate.

Child Care Information

Our SRC Child Care service allows you to accomplish your workout or attend a class confident in the knowledge your child is in the capable supervision of our Child Care professionals.

Registration

Educate

Admission is free with a Student Rec Center membership.

Please bring a Photo ID in order to complete the registration process prior to your child’s first day in the SRC Child Care Program.

Registrations are only accepted during SRC Child Care Program operating hours.

Children (6 months through 15 years) are welcome to participate.

Child Care Center service may vary on holidays, please check with SRC ahead of time.

Program Details

Educate

Participation is limited to a maximum of 2 hours per day.

Participation is limited to 10 children per 2-hour session.

Snacks are not provided, however, water is available.

We offer a safe, educational and nurturing environment where we supervise activities, assist with homework and host art and craft sessions.

As a parent or guardian, you must remain at SRC whilst your child is enrolled at SRC Child Care. Should a situation arise or an emergency an SRC Child Care professional will contact the parent quickly.
