The goal is to row a total of 14,000 meters between February 9 and Valentine’s Day, February 14. This is an individual challenge. Meters must be entered on scorecard. Participants who complete the challenge will be entered to win 1 initial consultation and 1 personal training session with an SRC Personal Trainer and a Fitbook! (1 male and 1 female winner).

Participation Policy
You must have a valid UCR ID or current Student Recreation Center membership to obtain personal training.

Clothing Policy
You must wear appropriate workout clothing and nonmarking shoes. No jeans please.

Initial Consultation Policy
Once an initial consultation or session package has been purchased and all forms are complete, the assigned personal trainer will contact you within one week from the date of registration. After three consecutive attempts to schedule a consultation or session with no response from the client, the personal training fee/package will be considered null and void.

Late Policy
You are responsible for being on time for your appointment. Your trainer is only required to wait 10 minutes. If your session begins late, it will only last until the end of the hour that the session was scheduled.

Cancellation Policy
Clients must notify their trainer at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule an appointment. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the session. There will be NO REFUNDS and NO EXCEPTIONS. Your trainer is also responsible for giving 24-hour notice if they need to cancel or reschedule.

Remaining Sessions Policy
All sessions must be used by the end of the fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). After three consecutive attempts to schedule remaining sessions without a response from the client, all remaining sessions will be considered null and void. At this point the client will no longer be able to access these sessions (regardless of how many are left).

You are required to purchase sessions before you schedule or use them. If you have used all of your sessions and want to continue to be trained, you must purchase more sessions.

There are NO REFUNDS for sessions purchased.

If you feel a personal trainer or other fitness staff does not provide a sufficient level of customer service, please contact the FitWell office at (951) 827-4472.


Group Fitness Classes begin January 8 - March 23

  • No classes on January 15 and February 19 (due to holidays).
  • All classes after 6:30pm on Monday, October 30 are cancelled (due to Zombie Zumba).
  • Total Body Toning moved to MPR B on Saturday, January 13 (due to Basketball Game).
  • 5PM Yoga class will be moved to MPR C on Wednesday, January 17 and Wednesday, February 21 (due to Basketball Game).
  • Total Body Toning will be cancelled on Saturday, February 24 (due to the Jump Rope clinic).
  • Pilates will be cancelled on Tuesday, March 6 (due to Glow in the Dark Cycling event).
  • 20/20/5 will be cancelled on Wednesday, February 14 (due to Valentine's Day Partner Yoga).
  • Condensed Schedule March 17 - 23: only classes after 4:00pm offered, except for 6:30am Yoga on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
