Gain confidence in the outdoors or for a career in guiding, medicine, youth programs, rescue, or camps.

No experience necessary. Learn snowboarding tips and tricks to shred on the slopes.

Have cupcakes with outdoor enthusiasts and learn to start a fire with friction - not using matches or lighters - the primitive way.

CyclingSavvy: How to Bike Anywhere Safely

FEBRUARY 7 at 12pm and 5:30pm
You’ll find out if riding a bicycle on sidewalks is safer or better, and why “every lane is a bike lane”.

Yosemite Snowshoeing and Exploring

Yosemite in winter is a wonderland: snowcovered Sequoias, massive rock faces, and stunning views.
Register by February 6.

Scuba Dive Boat Day Trip

Bring your certification card to participate. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, optional accomodations the night before on a dive boat, some diving gear, and 3 dives off the coast of Catalina Island are included.
Must register by February 2.

Desert Adventure: Double Caving and Ringbolt Ladder Canyon Hike

FEBRUARY 24 - 25
Crawl through lava caves from an extinct volcano. Explore Mitchell Caverns State Park on a guided tour in a limestone cave.
Register by February 20.

Spring Break: Black Canyon Kayaking and Hot Springs

MARCH 25 - 28
Explore canyons, waterfalls, hot springs, and a sauna cave on the Colorado River!
Register by March 22.

Cancellation Policy

Outdoor Excursions reserves the right to change or modify any Outdoor Excursion. If a trip is cancelled due to low participation, inclement weather or instructor illness, a full refund or credit is issued.

  • If a participant cancels 14+ days in advance of the scheduled excursion, a refund (minus a 25% processing fee; minimum $20) or a full-credit voucher (valid up to one year from the issue date) is given.
  • If a participant cancels 14 days or less of the scheduled excursion, no refund or credit is issued, regardless of the reason. We recommend finding a replacement participant to avoid loss of payment.
  • Switching trips may constitute a cancellation and is subject to the aforementioned policy.
