Joshua Tree National Park Adventure Tour

Join us for an adventurous hike in our closest National Park.
Register by April 12.

OE Hangouts: Earth Day Bash

No experience necessary. Learn snowboarding tips and tricks to shred on the slopes.

Spend Earth Day in Yosemite and enjoy the views.

Highlander Day of Service: Sycamore Canyon Cleanup & Hike

Spend a few hours giving back and join OE on Highlander Day of Service at Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Park.

Outreach Excursions: Beach Cleanup & Sandboarding/Surfing

Join OE for a cleanup of Zuma beach, and have some fun surfing and sandboarding!
Register by April 25.

OE Hangouts: Bike Week at the Nooner

Join OE at the Bell Tower for some games, prizes, and meet other bike enthusiasts!

CyclingSavvy Course: How to Bike Anywhere Safely

Learn first-hand "why every lane is a bike lane".

Mindful Meditation in Nature

Experience the calming effects of meditation outdoors, with the sights, smells, and sounds of nature. This is a free event!

HOOT: First Year Student Trips

Come have a HOOT with Outdoor Excursions and your fellow First-Years in Santa Cruz Island and Yosemite National Park!
Open to UCR first years only.

Cancellation Policy

Outdoor Excursions reserves the right to change or modify any Outdoor Excursion. If a trip is cancelled due to low participation, inclement weather or instructor illness, a full refund or credit is issued.

  • If a participant cancels 14+ days in advance of the scheduled excursion, a refund (minus a 25% processing fee; minimum $20) or a full-credit voucher (valid up to one year from the issue date) is given.
  • If a participant cancels 14 days or less of the scheduled excursion, no refund or credit is issued, regardless of the reason. We recommend finding a replacement participant to avoid loss of payment.
  • Switching trips may constitute a cancellation and is subject to the aforementioned policy.
